disappointing night. he has not won any states including virginia. he is near the 20% delegate threshold in all of alabama, georgia, tennessee and texas where he has between 19 and 21%. award delegates unless you reach that threshold. that will keep him in the process. is nine minutes after 9:00. we were told donald trump would atholding a press conference his place in palm beach, florida. we will show you what the scene looks like there. his folks are watching the hillary clinton of vent and timing -- clinton event. that is a press conference as you can see rather than a rally.

we are going to continue taking telephone calls and getting your reaction. let me introduce you to our next reporter joining us. rebecca is with us. thank you for being with us. guest: inc. you for having me. ask what young to think about it all. guest: you mentioned breaking news with the results from texas. there was some speculation that donald trump might pose a threat but ted cruz pulled out a home state when. -- win. we will hear a lot reminding people they have now won at least 2 states with iowa and texas over donald trump. marco rubio appears still will have not won any and may not pick up many delegates.

going forward is going to be a pragmatic argument about how the party can defeat donald trump. host: one of the interesting states was arkansas. it is not only hillary clinton's hometown it is huckabee country. what is the dynamic in that state? guest: it is interesting. it has gone from being a democratic state, more of a traditional democratic state. it was one of the last to turn republican among the southern states which is evidenced by clinton having been governor now supporting hillary clinton. the clinton family is powerful and arkansas. it has an interesting dynamic. totally a red state now. much like the rest of the south. it is a powerful state for someone on the republican side

light donald trump or ted cruz. hillary clinton has a home state advantage having been first lady of arkansas. no candidate will emerge with big wins for donald trump and hillary clinton with enough to secure the nomination. what do you see is the path forward? guest: it's a difficult path if you are not donald trump. even though he doesn't have the number locked up he would need he still has an advantage over his opponents and he is the likely republican nominee if we were talking about anyone by donald trump having won the states he has one we would be talking about the likely nominee but because there is so much opposition to donald trump we are going to see an accelerated campaign to take him down. tonight jeb bush announced he is pac.ng an anti-trump super there was a major donor among 50

big republican donors, discussing how they can attack him over the next couple of days and weeks. they are ramping up their efforts to see if there is any way to take him down. candidates like ted cruz and marco rubio and john kasich will be looking for ways they can rack up delegates in the event they can overtake donald trump or pose a challenge to him. host: as we have been talking information has come in. msnbc has called oklahoma for ted cruz. does that surprise you? guest: that is a major development. donald trumpate was favored to win. that will help his argument he delegate.onger i will add that at the beginning of the race ted cruz said super

tuesday would be his firewall. the southern states would launch him to winning the nomination. he expected to win many of them. donald trump change the game for him. his campaign realize they were looking at a different landscape and they were trying to lower expectations. in the context of donald trump being as strong as he is, seemingly unbeatable this is a big deal for ted cruz. host: another interesting bit of information. we were talking about arkansas. the networks are saying the race is too close to call and it is between donald trump and marco rubio. guest: that is very interesting. you have maybe some democrats in this case he may have decided to vote on the republican side. i would need to look at the

numbers. that is an interesting result. it reflects arkansas being more of a moderate republican state and newly deep red in the south. >> i want to get viewer comments spentestions but we just time listening to john kasich looking ahead to mississippi. he was spending time introducing himself to voters with his life story. where does john kasich? we have been talking about reports people in the party have been pressuring him to help clear the field. he wants to stay and through ohio. where do you see him going? guest: he has put a lot of stock in michigan at ohio on the 15th but if he is to lose ohio he doesn't really have a path beyond that.

if he can win ohio i see him sticking around as one of these candidates who could benefit from a contested convention scenario. if he is looking to win the traditional sense making it to 1000 21 at 37 delegates i don't see that path for him. i don't think his campaign realistically is looking at that. politicsorts for clear , let's listen to c-span viewers. this is shane. a democrat. hello. you are on the air. what is your comment? callen: i just think that i am voting for bernie sanders. host: why do you support him? caller: i like the stuff he has come up with. thing,kers, the biggest for the family leave, women who are pregnant they get the time

off. i like that. his health care thing. it is awesome. the way he is going to do it. host: thank you. rebecca, bernie sanders won his home state tonight but didn't fare well elsewhere. he talked about the fact that he is a political revolution bringing disenfranchised and young voters into the system. guest: he did. i would not say that it is a huge surprise he didn't come out on top. this was supposed to be a big day for hillary clinton. she is strong in the south. these are states were you have a african-american voters coming out to the polls and they tend to support hillary clinton in this race. it was a reverse dynamic than 2008. bernie sanders has a road ahead of him.

he has a groundswell of support behind in which is helpful when you are running as an insurgent candidate as he is but hillary clinton at an and vantage and still the favored candidate to win. host: our next color is from massachusetts where donald trump and hillary clinton were dominant tonight. caller: i voted for sanders. i'm feeling the republican party has this concept of divide and conquer it. what we need is investment in clean energy per that is where my vote to count. is our candidate who wins, that would make me happy but obviously i would put

my support behind hillary if she does when the candidacy. host: thank you for calling in. anything for that massachusetts independent? it's funny. she will be happy to support hillary clinton. that is the traditional dynamic. we are not seeing that on the republican side. many said they would never support donald trump as the nominee. that creates a vicious fight down the line. thecrats will benefit from unity they have on their side. there isn't the bitterness that could divide the party in the long-term. republicans are saying that emerge and that is going to be a problem for them. host: our next color is from michigan. their primary is coming up. it is a moderate state. also, a lot of working-class voters that could support someone like bernie sanders on

the republican side or john kasich on the public and side. but there is an opportunity for hillary clinton or someone like marco rubio who gets more press. donald trump has been popular with the white working class and probably could do well as well. host: colin, who is your candidate? caller: my candidate used to be rand paul for the libertarian movement but as we know he is suspended. now i am leaning towards john kasich. comment earlier about tell theump trying to republican party not maybe all going to support that. i agree. if donald trump became our

nominee i would have to lean towards the independent side. if there was any libertarian party, to go towards that. i think that is a detriment towards our party because of the loss we get towards fighting the democratic side. host: thank you. rebecca. guest: a very interesting call. it goes back to the problem the republican party faces. there's no clear solution. what do you do when half of your party won't vote we are nominee? and the other half decides to do so because they support him or value the tradition or want to keep the party hole? it is a thing they are going to have the answer. there is no clear answer. many republicans say that they will support donald trump. and republicans say privately we are starting to see that they would rather vote for hillary clinton than donald trump.

coming amazing dynamic forth. i would dare say unprecedented in modern politics. host: our next call comes from another state having an event with 28 gopa delegates. they are having a preference poll. our color is sean, a democrat. what are you -- how are you watching this tonight? i am channel surfing between the three major channels , msnbc, cnn and fox. just to get a better perspective. thank you for taking my call. i am voting for bernie sanders. i think he is the only real choice. i feel that there is no difference between hillary and trump. the only difference is hillary

has a record you can go back and look at, not at her website, you can go on youtube and follow her whole life career and see she is not, she is a politically motivated. she is not people motivated. for me the only choice is bernie sanders. myself bringe myself to vote for hillary because we're just going to get the same. host: thank you. what can you tell us about alaska? guest: alaska is an interesting state. it certainly is not the type of state where these campaigns are going to expend resources. time and money to go up there and campaign. you don't see the national media going up to alaska and talking with voters.

why many of the bigger states it becomes a national media's day. it gets information from not alsous in the press but from national television advertising. so this is where a campaign with money can be effective or in the case of donald trump where his celebrity and the amount of earned media is effective. alaska is a place where we will see national trends playing out. host: we are waiting for donald broughtad oklahoma has another surprise pre-ted cruz and bernie sanders are the victors. guest: oklahoma is the big spoiler of the night in both respects. this is going to be a huge coup for bernie sanders. point to this state as proof that his campaign is

stronger and more durable than the media and hillary clinton's campaign has given it credit for. from bernie sanders i would expect the beginning of a big fundraising boost. he has shown perhaps better than any candidate in this race the ability to tap in to a grassroots base and fundraising. i could see this being a boost for him tonight. host: we have a twitter question from birmingham, england. this fewer wants to know if donald trump does lose the nomination will he run alone? his ego surely will demand it. he certainly could run as a third-party candidate. pledgesign a republican at the beginning of the race as did all other candidates that they would run as republicans or nothing at all. that was a piece of paper and not worth the paper it was

written on. he could run as a third-party candidate. what i would say is more likely is donald trump is actually the republican nominee. or conservatives and antitrust , republicanseral or democrats put up a third-party candidate to run against him and hillary clinton. that is why we hear chatter about michael bloomberg considering a third-party bid. he is looking at this matchup between donald trump and hillary clinton and saying there may be an opportunity. next, calls from another primary state in massachusetts. this is hosea in massachusetts. who did you vote for tonight? caller: i voted for donald trump to -- host: why? caller: these candidates, they

are more like actors. they are not real people. it doesn't sound right what they are saying. they don't really change anything. it is more about popularity than anything. donald trump is more of a regular person. he lost money. he's made money. he is a regular person. guest: clearly, these characteristics have resonated with voters across the country. his success has been his cross national appeal. he is appealing in the deep south and in massachusetts. a very democratic state.

it is interesting to watch his campaign play out on a national level and appeal across all sorts of cultural and regional divides. we have a caller lined up. territory. what are the dynamics for the republicans in florida? guest: his campaign and marco rubio himself has presented florida as a must win. marco rubio earlier hasn't won any states. his campaign is saying they will win florida. that is a winner take all state. it is important for him and for the whole dynamic of the race in terms of the delegate count. the polling donald trump's leading and ted cruz is there with them. state.y no means a gimme

it is a not enough to push him over the top. he is going to have to do a lot of work. minutesnald trump 30 past his press conference time. we are continuing to watch. earlier marco rubio did make his campaign speech. he overstepped hillary clinton in the middle of live coverage. and now, who is your candidate? caller: my candidate is hillary clinton. thank you for having me. i am from montréal, canada. icon from a social democratic country. i became a u.s. citizen 10 years ago. bernie sanders has great aspirations and good ideas for where america can be but what the american people don't understand is it comes from a

girl born and raised in a social democratic country. this change won't happen in four years. republicans are in control right now. there is going to be a stalemate. are i hear americans that democrats and bernie sanders doesn't get elected i'm going to jump to the other side, it is disappointing. they don't know what they really need. views can geters through that would be great but the american people are not ready to do the sacrifices that have to be done to achieve the goals senator sanders wants. hillary clinton is an establishment but it is a progressive movement to wear sanders wants america to be. that is going to take time. turning around and having this stance that nothing is going to happen and i'm going to go to

the other side, they don't understand but politics is about and they don't understand the social democratic change that is required to happen. as far as the republicans the , ison the party is divided because if donald trump gets elected to be president he is going to be the leader of the free world. he has comments that are tearing the country apart. ity understand the impact will have on international scale. if they want to protect their what the republicans are doing by seeing a want to go democrat is the only way to save what america is right now. host: i'm going to jump in now. thank you for your call. of interesting issues. pragmatism is one thing you don't often hear about in the presidential race. hillary clinton is a big exception. her pitch has been about

the night has delivered a few surprises. in oklahoma ted cruz has been declared the winner. senator sanders is winning that state. he won his home state. bernie sanders winning vermont. this is from mike allen. it is all about delegates. karl rove made this calculation. among the virginia delegates even though donald trump has one they may split with 14-13 for marco rubio. let's go through the numbers as we await to hear from donald trump. these are republican totals. donald trump winning with 32.3% of the vote. senator rubio close behind. senator cruz at 25%. kasich in the single

digits. withor ted cruz winning 90,000 votes compared to 77,000 for donald trump. and the numbers for john kasich 71% of the vote reporting in oklahoma. in texas ted cruz winning with 40% of the vote. donald trump getting second. marco rubio at third. he is below the 20% mark. 20% if youet above want to get delegates. ben carson at 3.7%. now to virginia, the primary donald trump winning. focus on northern virginia including fairfax county. senator rubio is not able to make up the difference across the state. donald trump with 93% of the vote reporting. heavy concentration of vote totals.

in third.uz coming governor kasich and ben carson in the single digits. .hat's go to massachusetts the race has not been called. it has been back and forth between clinton and bernie sanders. right now you can see a 20,000 vote difference. hillary clinton is ahead. tweett to share you a from our porters, senator sanders has taken a record $42.7 million in donations in february. he is going to stay in the race through the next couple of weeks. he has the money to do so. >> we are hearing two things. this is the way these things happen tonight. donald trump is coming out and then ted cruz. this is one of those choices we are going to make. we are waiting for donald trump

i congratulate ted cruz on that win. we are going to make america great again. i watched hillary's speech. she is talking about wages have been poor. everything is doing badly. she has been there for so long. if she hasn't straightened it out by now she is not going to straighten it out in the next four years. it is going to be worse. she wants to make america whole again. what is that about? again isica great better than make america whole again. this was an exciting evening. it is great to be in florida. it is great to be with friends in the press. i know it was a tough night for marco rubio. he worked hard. he spent a lot of money. he is a lightweight.

but you know what, we are going to go to florida and spend so much time in florida. we have a 20 point lead. a lot of the special interests and lobbyists, the people that want to have their little senator do exactly as they want, they're going to pay $20 million into it over the next two weeks. frankly i think that is fine as far as i am concerned. if he wins they will have total control. he is not going anywhere anyway. we are going to spend a lot of time in florida. virginia was a great win. it is a place we have big investments. thousands of employees and florida. it has been an amazing place to invest. it has been amazing to have so many wonderful employees, urging us on.

thousands of employees all over the country, all over the world. it has been just so beautiful to watch this company grow and watch it grow so strongly. recent articles came out talking about how great a company we built. we want to put that same ability into doing something for our nation. our nation is in serious trouble. we are being killed on trade. absolutely destroyed. china is taking advantage of us. i have nothing against china. i have great respect for china. their leaders are too smart for our leaders. the trade deficits at $400 billion and $500 billion are too much. no country can sustain that kind of trade deficit. it will not be that way for long. we have the greatest business leaders in the world on my team already. believe me we are going to redo those trade deals.

you look at countries like mexico where they are killing us on the border. absolutely destroying is on the border. they are destroying us in terms of economic development. carrier air-conditioner moving into mexico. ford moving to mexico. nabisco closing up shop in chicago and moving into mexico. we have to stop it. we are going to create jobs we will create jobs like you've never seen. we're going to lower taxes. i have a plan that so many think is the best plan they have seen. we going to lower taxes substantially. the middle class has been forgotten. it was the predominant factor in making our country into a country that we love so much. the middleotten class. we are going to lower taxes. we are lowering taxes on business. moving toee pfizer

ireland and you see so many other companies constantly leaving. they used to move from new york to florida. now they are moving from here chris understands the problem. we can't let that happen. .e have lost manufacturing jobs millions and millions of jobs, thousands and thousands of plants. manufacturing plants, warehouses. we are losing so much we can't let it happen. i tell the story about a friend of mine who was in the excavation business. he always orders caterpillar. he ordered tractors from japan because they have cut the end. .hey have devalued the yen

i don't want that to happen. that is not going to happen. doy should not be able to it. we have tremendous power. we are the source. we have great power. ,e have politicians who truly truly don't know what they are doing. we are going to work hard. i am so honored by this. lookswith my wife, it literally like this. you have a lot of cameras here tonight. it looks literally like the academy awards. i never saw so many cameras in my life. it takes a lot of courage to run for president. i have never done this before. i have been a job producer. i have done a lot of things. this is something i have never done. income when the it's of the iran deal we get absolutely nothing. when you look at all of the problems our country has, you look at our military which is

being depleted rapidly, we are going to make our military bigger and better and stronger than ever before and nobody, nobody is going to mess with us, folks, nobody. everything. let me explain something. seen whate see has happened, where we had a tremendous victory in new hampshire, tremendous in nevada, you look at what has happened and tonight is the best of all. projected 6. we could be 7-8, 9, major states, georgia, massachusetts, -- [cheers] tennessee, virginia. these are amazing states. we are going to probably get a lot more. we are projected to have good additional numbers. i will say this. we have expanded the republican party. when you look at what has happened in south carolina and you see the kind of numbers we have in terms of extra people coming in. they came from the democratic party, the democrats. their long-term democrats. they were never going to switch and the all switched. they were independents.

we have expanded the party. look at the number of votes in that area as an example. four years ago they had 390 thousand votes. we doubled it. we were almost 800,000 votes. the democrats went down. there is much less enthusiasm. i am a unifier. i know people will find that hard to believe. i am a unifier. once we get this finished i'm going to go after one person, hillary clinton on the assumption she is allowed to run which is a big assumption. [applause] i don't know she is going to be allowed to run. that is going to be an easy race. i beat hillary in many polls. i don't think marco is going to be able to beat her. i think ted is going to have a hard time. ted cruz has a shot because at least he has one a little bit. much finerg to be a party. a much -- a unified party. to be honest with you.

we are going to be a much bigger party. our party is expanding. look at the primary states were i have one. that hasn't happened in many decades. be more inclusive, more unified. we are going to be a much bigger party. we're going to win. [applause] [inaudible question] donald trump: i'm just doing what is right. doneed parenthood has die good work. i will say it. the so-called conservatives say that is -- i am a conservative.

i'm a commonsense conservative. millions of women have been helped by planned parenthood. we are not going to allow and fund as long as you have the abortion going on at planned parenthood. we understand that. we will see what happens. planned parenthood, millions of writing letters. i'm going to be good for women. the for williams -- women's health issues. it is important to me. maybe that is not a perfect conservative view. i can tell you i more conservative than anybody on the military, taking care of our veterans, on the border on the wall, on getting rid of obama care and coming up with something much, much better. anding rid of common core bringing education to a local level so that you have good

education for our children. so, i mean come you can call it what you want. i am a truth teller. i will tell the truth. ok? go ahead. i feel awfully good. i'm watching your people. i'm going to be very nice. i'm watching your people on cnn. i'm watching the msnbc people. i'm becoming diplomatic. they are being very strong. they are declaring marco the loser of the night. he hasn't won anything. i have to tell you, he was very nasty. a right to be nasty. he has not won anything.

i do congratulate ted cruz. i know how hard ted cruz has worked on texas. that is a big get. i did very well in texas. one of the things my son told me which i didn't realize is that not only do i win most of the states, some are coming in, i came in second, no worst than second. it wasn't like i won and then i disappeared. the worst i had was a second. so i am very honored by the turnout. ok, yes, go ahead. [inaudible question] donald trump: right, right. i disavowed. -- he gave me the honor of joining the campaign.

what you have is a movement. we spoke. they had to be 20,000 people inside that convention center. every place we are thinking. if we have 10,000 people it is a small group. when chris called he said this is a movement. they have never seen what is happening now. when chris joined we had a news conference. right after the program we are talking about, we are groups, groups. who knows. , i put out a tweet and i put on facebook that i disavowed.y

i disavowed them. . disavowed today how many times are you supposed this about? i disavowed. hopefully it is the final time i have to do it. if you look at facebook and twitter i put out a statement because i wanted everyone to be sure. [inaudible question] donald trump: there is going to be renegotiation. it's going to be a good negotiation. not a bad negotiation. hopefully i will make a great deal and lots of great deals to the american people. can't go around just signing notices the president signs all the time, executive orders. don't event like i know, does he deal with congress anymore?

does he speak to the sin that? does he speak with congressman and get them in a room and get things done? a good example is something that i think is important to me. corporate inversion. , a great businessman who endorse me, where we are losing companies. the taxes are too high. we have the highest taxed nation in the world. ,mportantly they have trillions trillions of dollars outside of this country. the democrats agree it should be brought back in. the republicans agree it should be brought back in. everyone agrees it should be brought back in. i could sit in a room or the oval office for literally half hour and i believe i could get everybody, every single person. agree on common core, or other things.

these trillions and trillions of dollars should be brought into he doesn't know how to make a deal. he probably doesn't care. you are talking tremendous amounts of money. if you can't make a deal there is something going on that is wrong. you have the wrong leader. [inaudible question] donald trump: we are going to have a wall. i watched the ex-president of mexico. the arrogance of this man. i get along with hispanics. i won in the poll, the hispanic vote. i have thousands who work for me right now that are hispanic. i've had thousands of thousands over my lifetime free these are great people. the mexican leaders are too smart for our leaders. you saw it.

foxce and fox -- vincent a no one even talked about the word he used. he was angry at the concept of somebody saying they were going to pay for the wall. we have a trade deficit with mexico. $58 billion. the wall is going to cost $10 billion. it is so easy. i've had these guys. you don't really mean next quiz going to pay for the wall. as sure as you are standing there, 100% mexico is going to pay. able to build a wall, it is 2000 miles but we need 1000 miles. the great wall of china is 13,000 miles, folks. they didn't have caterpillar tractors. i love john deere. they didn't have tractors. they didn't have cranes. they didn't have excavation equipment. the wall is 13,000 miles long. materials. of the this is going to be a serious wall. we are one stop trucks will -- from coming into -- we are going to stop drugs from coming into new hampshire. it is so beautiful. you look at the field. it is so beautiful. problem, heroin

is pouring in. they have so many young people and other people addicted. i told them i'm going to stop it. i'm going to stop it. we are going to have a strong border. they are going to come in legally. he is a friend of mine and i have a lot of respect for rick scott. long. been there with obama for a long period of time. why haven't they done anything about it? then you look at her record as secretary of state, it is abysmal. you look at what goes on with syria. it is a disaster. we are going to have an interesting to read bank -- period of time. if she is allowed to run i will be surprised. run, ithe is allowed to will be a sad day for this country. because what she did was wrong. and i think we will be able to unify the party. i think we will get along with everybody. i don't know paul ryan well, but i hope to get along with it. i do know mitch mcconnell a little bit. this, i have millions and millions and millions of people. this is not a close match. it is too bad winner did not take all, because this thing would be over, and we would have a celebration. romney. results first at the republican primary and caucus is that a been taking place across most of the south, east, and midwest. in alabama, and we will only focus on the top three contenders. donald trump winning that state with 45.1% of the vote, compared cruz,t over 20% with ted and just over 17% for marco rubio. arkansas donald trump winning at 34.5%. close behind, senator ted cruz at 28.6%, and senator marco rubio at 24.6%. for georgia, 40% for donald cruz, and for ted third for marco rubio. massachusetts, governor john

kasich was looking for a win, but that was not the case. senator rubio coming in third at 18.1%. the caucuses in minnesota are still going on. in oklahoma, senator ted cruz picking up a third win after his iowa caucus win in january. winning his home state tonight of texas. donald trump, coming in second and 28.5%, and marco rubio at 25.8%. in tennessee, donald trump also the winner. 40.7%,trump getting senator cruz at 23.9%, and senator marco rubio just over 20% in the state of tennessee. in texas, an important win for senator ted cruz because he stays in this race, getting just over 41% of the vote. donald trump second, marco rubio coming in third. and in vermont, a state that winning narrowly against senator marco rubio with nearly 35% of the vote, compared

governorver 30% for john kasich, and senator marco rubio at 19.6%. that --nia, a state let's go to minnesota. winningmarco rubio now in the minnesota caucuses, only 10% reporting, at 36.9%. senator ted cruz at 27.4%, and donald trump coming in third, at 20.4%. wherey, in virginia, senator marco rubio was hoping for a win in that state, but that was declared for donald trump. and we will go through the democrats as well. beginning with alabama, a state that hillary clinton won easily, with 80% of the vote. arkansas, where she served as first lady where her govern -- has been was governor of that nearly 70% of that vote for hillary clinton. in colorado, senator sanders right now with 53.4%.

compared to just over 45% for hillary clinton. moving onto georgia, hillary clinton winning with 71% of the vote, compared to 28% for senator bernie sanders. a number of primaries and the south, but also massachusetts, where hillary clinton is narrowly holding onto a lead at 51% of the bow, compared to 47.8% for senator bernie sanders. senator bernie sanders winning that voted 52%, with just over 41% with hillary clinton. also, sweeping the south with nearly 67% of the bow, compared to nearly 32% for senator sanders. all of these numbers are on our website at www.c-span.org. texas, clinton at 67.6%, and sanders at 30.5%.

primary inht tennessee, how did you vote? donald trump the voices the opinion of the majority of the people, or else he would not get the vote. the idea that he cannot beat if he does not get the nominee i will vote democrat. it is a joint effort, voters in the republican party to discredit chomp. -- trump. the other one being the vice president candidate. i think a lot of people would not vote for either one.

the turnout in the republican primaries, a lot of democrats, who are voting for trump. being the only one able to win the election, not the other two. host: host: what issues that donald trump speaks of our most important to you? caller: i like the idea of maintaining the border. it keeps drugs out. i like the idea of bringing jobs back to the united states and quit shipping them overseas for these guys that bring them back and sell them to the americans, and they are pocketing the the money at the expense of americans losing their jobs by them going overseas or into mexico and other countries. it is just the right thing to do to make america great again. i think that is what you have to do. host: thanks for your call.

matthew is in georgia, another state with a primary tonight. a republican. who did you vote for? caller: i am a libertarian. i voted for bernie sanders tonight. host: you did? that is an interesting choice. caller: that is my comment of the night. i voted for bernie sanders as a libertarian. host: why did you make that choice? caller: i suppose i want to split it in half. if i want a social liberal, he is my best bet. the two parties are very similar. host: how do you see this year playing out? caller: i am not really sure. i have been voting republican probably my entire adult voting life. it is very confusing to me how different this election is from the ones i have seen before. i am excited to see how it plays out. host: thank you for being part of our coverage tonight.
